Illinois Court
Illinois court records can be processed and, in some cases, later accessed at the setting of a court within one of the twenty-three circuit courts which have been established throughout the whole State of Illinois. Among the different circuit courts thus created for hearing cases, Cook County, DuPage County, Lake County, McHenry County, and Will County Circuit Courts comprise their own county-wide systems, while other circuit courts are made up of several of the 97 other Illinois counties.
Cook County Circuit Court
The Cook County Circuit Court system is the largest circuit court in the State of Illinois, and has judicial authority over the City of Chicago, among other places. The Clerk of the Circuit Court of Cook County is Dorothy Brown, while the Circuit Court of Cook County is also administered by a Chief Judge, various Circuit Judges, and Associates Judges.
